When David desired to see the First Temple, he wrote, “You are my lamp, Oh Lord ; the Lord turns my darkness into light.” At the same time, the introduction of a crude potter’s wheel transformed the hand molded bowls that were being used as oil lamps. They became a more uniform and rounded container with a single, slightly shaped wick spout that more resembled the style of a saucer. Approximately 5"x 5.5"x2". Can be ordered individually or as a set (one of each of our three lamps: Abraham's, David's, Lord's).
