The Tabernacle is known in Hebrew as the Mishkan ("Residence" or "Dwelling Place"). It was a portable dwelling place for the divine presence from the time of the Hebrew Exodus from Egypt through the conquering of the land of Canaan. Its elements were made part of the final Temple in Jerusalem about the 10th century BC. This model of the Tabernacle is designed according to the exact building instructions in the Holy Bible (Exodus 27).
Assembling the model is an educational project which enables one to understand and study the construction of the Tabernacle step by step: the alter, the holy of the holiest, the yard, the scarifying tables, the structure of the fence and its special columns.
A new and exciting way to experience the past as part of your Bible/Torah study lesson, classroom demonstration or personal collection. Makes a unique and educational gift! (approximately 25"Long X 13 1/8"Wide x 3 1/8"High)
